Low-risk workplaces are typically defined as work that does not involve the use of dangerous machinery and equipment or hazardous practices, these environments include working in an Office, Education, Retail, and Light-Industrial workplaces.

These working environments are believed to have a relatively low likelihood of incidents and accidents, however, complacency or overlooking seemingly minor hazards in such environments can lead to unsuspecting accidents. 

This Low-Risk Workplace Safety Induction ecourse explores how to identify common hazards and reduce the risk of accidents.

The course will cover all the basics of health and safety, including:

  • How to contribute to a health and safety culture at work.

  • How to identify common workplace hazards and risks. 

  • How to complete Risk Assessments. 

  • Display Screen Equipment.

  • Manual Handling.

  • Work at Height.

  • Fire Safety.
