DISPLAY SCREEN EQUIPMENT AWARENESS eLEARNING

This course is for you if you commonly use any form of a digital screen within your workplace.

In the modern workplace, frequent daily use of display screen equipment (DSE) such as laptops, desktop computers, smartphones, and tablets is unavoidable. Prolonged and incorrect use of DSE can cause harm such as back or neck pain or eye problems. Employers are obligated to reduce these risks and ensure that employees are aware of best practices for DSE use.

The Display Screen Equipment Awareness course teaches employees how to set up a safe and comfortable display screen and workspace. On completion, employers of DSE users will become compliant with The Display Screen Equipment Regulations 1992.

On completion of this course, learners will understand:

  • How to set up workstations and use display screen equipment properly.
