Fire SAFETY
Our extensive experience as operational Fire Officers, combined with our technical experience and training gives us a unique perspective that will help ensure you, your colleagues and your clients stay safe.

Fire Safety is not just about carrying out checks and delivering training, it is about ensuring processes are in place for the safety of your colleagues and other building users.
You can help ensure the safety of those you are responsible for by implementing simple fire prevention tips, and by knowing exactly what to do if a fire starts.

FIRE RISK ASSESSMENTS
A Fire Risk Assessment is a legal requirement. If you are responsible for a building, you need to make sure a suitably competent person completes a Fire Risk Assessment. It is your duty to identify fire risks and hazards in your premises and take appropriate action.
For a complete fire safety service, from the initial Fire Risk Assessment through to devising your evacuation strategy, TEAM Safety Services can help.
Whether you are in need of a single Fire Risk Assessment or a Fire Risk Management System with over 1,000 FRAs, our dedicated TEAM are fully trained and highly experienced to assist with your individual specifications and requirements.
We will also advise you on any remedial action that needs to be taken following the results.

COMPARTMENTATION
AND FIRE DOOR SURVEYS
In addition to FRAs, we can carry out non-destructive surveys of all communal areas and doors, as well as flat front doors.
The objective of fire compartmentation is to prevent the spread of smoke, gases, and flames. By subdividing the building with fire-resisting construction, escape routes and high-risk or high-value areas are protected to ensure the safety of occupants and prevent extensive losses.
This gives you the confidence needed to ensure your building is safe, as well as comply with the recent and upcoming changes to Fire Safety Legislation.

FLAT FIRE SAFETY CHECKS
In Residential Buildings, High Rises in particular, there are additional requirements that have recently come into place. We have developed the Flat Fire Safety Check to help you meet these new and upcoming legislative requirements, detailed in the Fire Safety Act 2021 and Fire Safety England Regulations 2022.
By offering residents a Flat Fire Safety Check, we can help you engage with them to ensure they know what to do in the event of a fire, and assess any particular challenges they might have in getting out safely. We will carry out Person Centred Risk Assessments and draft an Evacuation Plan if required.
Our TEAM will also carry out checks on Flat Front Doors and Balconies to help you upgrade your Fire Risk Assessments and comply with the recent changes in legislation.

FIRE MARSHALLING
Our residential and event Fire Marshals are trained Firefighters giving you the peace of mind that any emergency will be dealt with professionally, calmly and swiftly.
Ensuring the fire safety of residents has become more relevant following the number of high-profile fires in recent years, particularly at night when most serious fires start.
As well as ensuring the safety of residents and occupants, our Fire Marshals can assist in carrying out routine fire safety checks on fire alarms and emergency lights, for example.
They can also assist in carrying out home safety visits, person-centred Fire Risk Assessments and fire door inspections. These would go a long way towards demonstrating compliance with the Fire Safety Act 2021 and Fire Safety England Regulations 2022.
