Worked Example

Reducing vibration risks: an example

John is at work on a busy construction site. He has been tasked to use a hammer drill to make some fixing points in concrete.

John remembers his site induction told him he must be aware of the dangers of vibration.

John expects he will be using the drill all day. After an hour of drilling John starts to feel tingling in his fingers.

He is unsure what this means.
