This course is for you if you require an induction to health and safety within a low-risk workplace environment.

Low-risk workplaces are typically defined as work that does not involve the use of dangerous machinery and equipment or hazardous practices, these environments include working in an Office, Education, Retail, and Light-Industrial workplaces.

These working environments are believed to have a relatively low likelihood of incidents and accidents, however, complacency or overlooking seemingly minor hazards in such environments can lead to unsuspecting accidents. Employees may become less vigilant or overlook potential dangers, increasing the likelihood of incidents despite the perceived low risk. Therefore, maintaining a proactive approach to safety, regardless of perceived risk levels, is crucial to prevent unforeseen accidents.

A lack of health and safety awareness can put your employees' well-being in danger, and lead to lost work days. It is a legal requirement for employers to provide the correct training under the Health and Safety at Work Act of 1974. Providing workers with the key elements of workplace health and safety will help to protect them and your business.
