Resident Flat Fire Safety Guide

This TEAM Safety Services Flat Fire Safety Guide is supplied to you by Newlon Housing Trust. It shares various residential fire risks you may encounter and practical steps to reduce the risk of fire in your home.

At the end of the Flat Fire Safety Guide, there will be a questionnaire to fill out on behalf of the whole household. Please answer it honestly, as it will help Newlon Housing Trust arrange a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan if you need one. This plan is essential if you or your fellow residents may need support during an emergency in your building.

Filling Out The Questionnaire

If you or anyone in your household is unable to self-evacuate in an emergency due to limited mobility, visual or hearing impairments, medical conditions, or any other factors that may make it difficult to evacuate quickly, it is crucial that you inform Newlon Housing Trust so that they can help arrange support.

Completing the Questionnaire below for everyone within your household will help Newlon Housing Trust understand whether your household needs this essential support.

If your Questionnaire indicates that you would benefit from emergency assistance, TEAM Safety Services will then arrange a visit to create a personalised evacuation plan for you. This plan will then be shared with Newlon Housing Trust to ensure that suitable safety measures are put in place.

If you have any other questions about your home, please contact Newlon Housing Trust.
