Every year, thousands of workers are made ill by hazardous substances in their varied forms – chemicals, fumes, dusts, vapours, gases, mists and more! These substances can cause serious lung and skin diseases, and even cancers.

According to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002, it is the employer’s duty protect workers from the serious health risk of exposure to hazardous substances.

This COSHH Awareness ecourse will teach workers how to identify and control hazardous substances, as well as understand the risks so they are able to work with them safely.

The course will cover:

  • What is COSHH?
  • How to reduce the risks of exposure to hazardous substances
  • How to prevent harmful substances from entering the body
  • Employers and employees responsibilities

  • Employers will be compliant with COSHH 2002 Regulations.
  • Employees will be able to identify hazardous substances in their workplace and know the ill effects they can cause.
  • Employees will be competently trained to know what preventative measures to use to avoid dangerous exposure.
