Ensuring that your employees are aware of the potential fire hazards in your workplace will help you minimise the risk of injury or death to your employees and limit potential damage to your property.

Not only that – it’s legally required by the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005.

This Fire Safety Awareness course takes a close look at what causes workplace fires and how to prevent them and┬áis approved by the world’s largest health and safety organisation, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Once the course and assessment are completed, you will receive an IOSH accredited certificate.

The course will cover fire safety and evacuation procedures as well as proper equipment use.

The key concepts that will be taught, are:

  • How to prevent fires from starting in the workplace
  • How to safely evacuate a building in the event of a fire
  • What the common causes of workplace fires are
  • Your role in fire safety

Employers will comply with the the legal requirement under the Fire Safety Order 2005. Employees will understand the specific dangers of fire in the workplace and what precautions to take to prevent them. Employees will be equipped with the proper safety measures to help minimise damage and risk of injury in the event of a fire.
