As we reach the halfway point of 2026, it's an opportunity to pause and reflect on what has already been an incredibly busy and rewarding year for TEAM Safety Services.
The first six months of the year have seen continued growth across our fire safety, health and safety and training services, the launch of new solutions, national industry recognition and the expansion of our team and capabilities.
Award-Winning Support For Housing Providers
One of the most significant developments this year has been the rollout of our Residential Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (RPEEP) services in response to the changes introduced in April 2026.
The new legislation focuses on ensuring residents who may require assistance to evacuate during an emergency are appropriately identified, assessed and supported. Since launching our services, we have been working with housing providers and responsible persons across the country to help them navigate these requirements with confidence.
Our RPEEP services include Type 1, 2, 3, and 4 Fire Risk Assessments, award-winning eLearning and Safety Guides, resident self-assessment identifier form, RPEEP Assessments with our comprehensive assessor form, along with complete plans and practical recommendations.

We continue to invest heavily in improving competence and understanding across the sector through practical and accessible eLearning.
Our Residential Emergency Evacuation Plans eLearning course is designed to help housing providers, responsible persons and assessors quickly get up to speed with the new requirements, understand their responsibilities and improve confidence in delivering effective evacuation planning.
Our Resident Flat Fire Safety Guide raises awareness of common fire risks in the home and empowers residents to take an active role in protecting themselves and their neighbours from the risk of fire.
Because of these learning and development solutions, we have been awarded 'Public Sector Initiative of the Year' at the 2026 British Training Awards! You can read more about the award in our blog below.
Industry Recognition
This year has also brought some fantastic industry recognition for the TEAM.
Earlier this month, we were proud to attend the Fire and Security Matters Awards after being shortlisted as finalists for Fire Consultancy of the Year.
Being recognised alongside some of the UK's leading fire safety organisations was a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the expertise, dedication and hard work demonstrated by our team every day.

The celebrations continue this month as we attended the British Training Awards on 15th July, where we are proud to have been awarded Public Sector Initiative of the Year for our Residential Flat Fire Safety Guide and associated resident training resources.
Winning this award is great recognition for our commitment to making safety accessible, practical and relevant for residents living in high-rise residential buildings.

Expanding Our eLearning Offering
Training continues to be a major focus for TEAM, and 2026 has seen the launch of several new digital learning programmes.
Alongside our Residential Emergency Evacuation Plans eLearning course, we have also launched our new Legionella Awareness programme, helping organisations improve understanding of water hygiene risks and legal responsibilities.
Our growing eLearning portfolio is designed to make compliance training more accessible, engaging and practical for organisations operating across a wide range of sectors.
Delivering Bespoke Training Solutions
Earlier this year, we worked closely with M Group to develop and deliver a bespoke Accident Investigation training programme tailored specifically to their operational requirements.
The programme was created to strengthen investigative competence, improve learning outcomes following incidents and support a positive reporting culture across the business.
We are delighted that the programme has now achieved IOSH approval, providing additional reassurance around the quality and robustness of the training being delivered.

Growing Our Team Nationally
As demand for our services continues to grow, so does our team.
During the first half of 2026 we began expanding our delivery capability nationwide and are currently recruiting for a number of specialist roles across our fire safety division.
We are actively seeking experienced Fire Risk Assessors, Fire Strategists/Engineers and Fire Risk Assessment Validators to support our growing portfolio of residential, commercial and complex building projects across the UK.
It is an exciting time to be joining TEAM as we continue to invest in people, expertise and service innovation.
Supporting Causes That Matter
Giving back to the communities we work within remains incredibly important to us.
This June, we were proud to sponsor a hole at a charity golf day raising money for Alzheimer's Society, helping to support the fantastic work the charity carries out for individuals and families affected by dementia.
TEAM Safety Services sponsored the ninth hole, where Sean who played on our TEAM scored a hole in one, and a total of £6,000 was raised for the day.

Looking Ahead
While the first six months of 2026 have been busy, there is plenty more still to come.
With new services continuing to evolve, our national team continuing to grow, and further development across training and consultancy, we are excited for what the second half of the year will bring.
