As 2025 draws to a close, our TEAM would like to take a moment to reflect on an incredible year of progress, partnerships, and new opportunities. This year has been one of innovation and collaboration — working alongside some of the UK’s most respected organisations to deliver cutting-edge solutions that make workplaces safer, stronger, and more compliant.

A Look Back at 2025

This year has seen TEAM Safety Services continue to grow across a wide range of industries. Some of our highlights this year include:

BRE (Building Research Establishment)

We’re proud to have secured a major new contract with the Building Research Establishment (BRE), beginning in December 2025. Our team will be delivering Fire Safety and Health & Safety consultancy at their Watford site — an exciting opportunity to support one of the UK’s leading authorities in the built environment.

M Group Services – Bespoke Accident Investigation Training

In collaboration with M Group Services, we’ve been developing a bespoke accident investigation training programme for their SHEQ teams across the UK. The course — set to roll out in 2026 — will support M Group’s ongoing commitment to safety excellence across their wide-ranging operations, including water, energy, telecoms, highways, and rail infrastructure.

Engie – Safety Stand Down Event

For Engie, we designed and delivered a two-day Health and Safety Stand Down event in a dynamic courtroom style format. This immersive experience used real-world accident scenarios, group breakouts, debate, and mock trial interviews to bring learning to life — empowering teams to explore accountability, culture, and prevention in an engaging and memorable way.

McConnell – Award-Winning Partnership

Our ongoing partnership with McConnell throughout 2025 saw the creation of a bespoke mandatory Health and Safety Induction for staff, contractors, and supply chain members. This initiative not only strengthened McConnell’s safety culture but also achieved national recognition — winning the ‘Construction Initiative of the Year’ award at the British Training Awards 2025. We’re immensely proud of this shared success, which reflects our dedication to delivering innovative, measurable training that truly makes a difference.

Expanding Our eLearning Solutions

We’ve continued to expand and enhance our eLearning portfolio — reaching our highest number of learners to date — and introducing new, timely topics such as the Building Safety Act. Many of our courses are now available in multiple languages, with the option for bespoke branding, company policies, and values integrated into the learning experience — ensuring that training feels personal, relevant, and effective.

Residential Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (RPEEP) – Supporting the Next Wave of Building Safety Legislation

In anticipation of the legislative changes coming into force in April 2026, we developed our Residential PEEP (RPEEP) solution, designed to help housing providers identify and support residents requiring assistance in emergencies. This innovative approach — which earned a Commended Award for Fire Safety Project of the Year at the IFSM Awards 2025 — is already helping clients stay ahead of compliance requirements while enhancing resident safety and wellbeing.

Leading the Way as the No.1 Fire Safety Consultants

We are proud of our position as the No.1 Fire Safety Consultants on the South East Consortium Compliance Framework — a recognition that reflects our continued commitment to excellence and trust across the housing and construction sectors. Our expert team has supported housing associations, local authorities, and contractors across the South East with practical, proactive fire safety guidance and compliance solutions, helping ensure safer homes and stronger communities.

Engaging with Industry at Key Events

2025 also gave us the opportunity to connect with peers and clients at major sector events, including the SEC Annual Conference and the Kent Housing Group Conference, where our Fire Safety Director, Ellis Arnett, was a Guest Speaker at the conference. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many of you, sharing insights, and discussing the ever-evolving challenges and opportunities within fire safety and housing compliance. These events are always a highlight for TEAM Safety Services — offering a chance to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and continue driving positive change across the industry.

Recognising Leadership and Achievement

We were thrilled to see two of our directors recognised nationally this year for their outstanding contributions to the safety sector. Tony Bates was honoured as Runner-Up for the Lifetime Achievement Award by the British Safety Council, celebrating his decades of dedication and service to improving safety standards across the UK.

Meanwhile, Ellis Arnett was named a Finalist for Fire Safety Manager of the Year at the IFSM 2025 Awards for his leadership in developing our innovative RPEEP solutions — a forward-thinking approach to resident safety designed in line with vital new legislation coming into force in 2026.

Their achievements embody the expertise, innovation, and passion that define TEAM Safety Services and inspire our ongoing mission to lead the way in safety consultancy and training.

This year also marked our new partnership with Vadella, which strengthens our capabilities and positions us for an even brighter future. Vadella brings together exceptional specialist businesses across the built environment. Their culture — built on integrity, quality, and people development — aligns perfectly with our own values.

Looking ahead to 2026, we’re excited to build on this momentum, expand our service offering, and continue supporting clients with the same commitment to expertise, quality and safety that defines our work. The year ahead promises new opportunities, new collaborations and even greater impact across the industry.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we move into 2026, we’re excited to continue pushing boundaries, embracing innovation, and developing tailored safety solutions that respond to the evolving needs of our clients and the industries we serve.

From cutting-edge digital training and legislative updates to large-scale consultancy and specialist projects, we remain committed to being your trusted safety experts — ensuring that together, we make workplaces and communities safer than ever before.

A Final Word of Thanks

To all our clients, partners, and colleagues — thank you for another successful year. Your collaboration, trust, and commitment to health, safety, and fire protection are what drive us forward. Here’s to 2026 — a new year of growth, innovation, and shared success.
