Are you a construction company looking to upskill your workforce without breaking the bank? Then look no further! CITB's Employer Networks Grant Scheme helps to simplify and drastically reduce the cost of essential training for your employees. TEAM Safety Services is thrilled to be part of this initiative starting in October of this year, which will allow you to receive our training programmes at just 30% of the usual price. The remaining 70%? That’s covered by CITB!

What Is the CITB Employer Networks Grant Scheme?

CITB's Employer Network Grant Scheme is a game-changing initiative launched to provide targeted, high-quality training to construction companies across the UK. The programme simplifies the process of accessing funding and support by eliminating paperwork and directly addressing the needs of employers.

CITB Employer Networks have two main objectives:

  • Easy Access to Training & Funding: The Employer Networks make getting the training you need effortless. Whether it's trade skills for today or strategic training for the future, CITB funds 70% of the cost, meaning you only pay 30%.
  • Collaborative Local Support: By bringing together local employers, CITB ensures that training needs are identified at a regional level, allowing funds to be used where they are needed most. This helps address current and future skills gaps in your area.

What Are the Benefits of This Scheme?

By accessing TEAM Safety Services' training through the CITB Employer Networks, your organisation can benefit from:

  • No Funding Applications or Lengthy Forms: CITB will book the training through your local Training Providers, such as with our Trainers at TEAM Safety Services.
  • No grants: CITB will pay 70% of the cost of the course directly to the training provider once it is completed; you only have to pay a 30% contribution upfront when booking.
  • Skill Enhancement: Equip your workforce with up-to-date skills to keep your company competitive.
  • Increased Productivity: Well-trained employees perform tasks more efficiently and safely, boosting overall productivity.
  • Career Development: Provide your employees with growth opportunities, improving morale and retention.
  • Cost-Effective Training: Receive top-tier industry training at just 30% of the price!

  • Is up to date with your CITB levy payments.

To qualify and benefit from the Employer Networks, follow these simple steps to apply for training funding:

1
CITB Registration
: Ensure your business is registered with CITB and up to date with your levy payments. If not, you can register on the CITB website.

2    Identify Training Needs: Determine your employees' training requirements. Whether you need immediate skills or long-term development, we’ve got you covered. Choose the courses that will benefit your workforce.

3    Booking Training: CITB books the courses, and as a CITB-registered employer, you don’t need to complete any paperwork to apply for the funding.

4    Payment: CITB will subsidise all training by 70%; all you have to do is pay 30% of the cost of the course upfront. However, if the training is not completed due to absences, you will be responsible for covering the full cost of the course.

5    Complete The Form: You will be sent a booking form from your local CITB Advisor. The CITB booking team then books the course/courses directly with the Training provider, and a booking confirmation is emailed. Alternatively, we can fill out the booking form for you and send it to our CITB Advisor, making us the point of call for your training.

Become part of the CITB Employer Networks in your area today and benefit from streamlined access to training, generous financial support, and the opportunity to help shape the future of construction training in your region.
