VIBRATION AWARENESS eLEARNING

This course is for you if you may be exposed to significant levels of vibration. Also, Managers with specific H&S responsibilities and Supervisors who are required to reinforce control measures.

The use of power tools and machinery can expose workers to high levels of vibration, which can cause permanent and severe damage. Excessive vibration is known to cause hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), commonly known as “white finger”. An estimated 5 million people are exposed to HAVS at work, and nearly half of them are exposed to levels high enough to develop the disease.
