WORK AT HEIGHT eLEARNING WITH PORTUGUESE VOICE-OVERS

This course is for you if you are or will be working at height

and speak Portuguese as your 1st language.

Falls from height are one of the most common causes of injury at work, often leading to serious harm or fatalities. The Work at Height Regulations 2005 requires employers to provide workers with the necessary information to be able to successfully deal with the risks and control measures.

This Work at Height course will teach workers how to carry out work at height, at or below ground level, in a safe and responsible way. This course is approved by the world’s largest health and safety organisation, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Employers will fulfil their legal obligation under the Work at Height Regulations 2005.

This course has undergone a thorough approval process with IOSH (the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) to become one of their accredited bite-sized courses. IOSH reviewed the course content, structure, and learning outcomes to ensure the course meets their high standards for quality, relevance, and learner engagement. Achieving IOSH approval demonstrates that the course offers effective, practical health and safety training that professionals across industries can trust.

On completion of this course, learners will understand:

How to carry out a work at height risk assessment.
How to use access equipment safely.
How to reduce their risk of falls from height.
How to minimise the risks of injury associated with work at height.
How to control and minimise risks.

As an employer, you must ensure that all employees are informed, trained and competent. For employees who speak English as their 2nd language, you must ensure they are confident and have fully understood the training provided.

Because of this, we have created the option of Portuguese voice-overs to accompany this course. Learners will be able to follow the English course whilst listening to the Portuguese translation, assisting with comprehension and compliance.

Anyone who undertakes work at height, at or below ground level and speaks Portuguese as a 1st language.
20-30 minutes to complete, with multiple-choice questions.
On successful completion of this course, learners will gain a qualification and receive an IOSH-approved certificate acknowledging their course of study, which can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
