WORKING AT HEIGHT eLEARNING

This course is for you if you are or will be working at height.

Falls from height are one of the most common causes of injury at work, often leading to serious harm or fatalities. The Work at Height Regulations 2005 requires employers to provide workers with the necessary information to be able to successfully deal with the risks and control measures.

This Working at Height course will teach workers how to carry out work at height, at or below ground level, in a safe and responsible way. This course is approved by the world’s largest health and safety organisation, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Employers will fulfil their legal obligation under the Work at Height Regulations 2005.

On completion of this course, learners will understand:

  • How to carry out a work at height risk assessment.
  • How to use access equipment safely.
  • How to reduce their risk of falls from height.
  • How to minimise the risks of injury associated with work at height.
  • How to control and minimise risks.

As an employer, you must ensure that all employees are informed, trained and competent. To assist with the online learning experience, we have incorporated English voiceovers into this eLearning course, which will significantly enhance accessibility and foster a deeper understanding of the content.

These voiceovers provide an inclusive learning experience, catering to diverse audiences, including those with visual impairments or individuals who may struggle with reading comprehension.

By offering auditory reinforcement, learners can absorb information more effectively, reinforcing key concepts and improving overall retention, promoting a more accessible and comprehensible educational experience.

  • Anyone who undertakes work at height, at or below ground level.
  • 20-30 minutes to complete, with multiple-choice questions.
  • On successful completion of this course, learners will gain a qualification and receive a certificate acknowledging their course of study, which can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
